USE OF THE WEBSITE
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from this website without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use of our content may violate copyright and other applicable laws.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content published on The Table Review, including but not limited to fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and interviews, is the property of The Table Review and its respective contributors. Upon acceptance of a submission, The Table Review acquires first publication rights. Authors retain full ownership of their work. We retain exclusive publication rights for 30 days following publication, after which authors are free to republish their work elsewhere. We request that any reprints acknowledge original publication in The Table Review.
SUBMISSIONS
By submitting work to The Table Review through Submittable, you confirm the following: your submission is your own original work and has not been previously published; your submission is written in English; your submission has not been generated in whole or in part using artificial intelligence; you are not submitting work in more than one category at the same time; you are not submitting more than one piece within the same category during the same reading period; and you will notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere while under consideration with us.
For fiction, submissions must not exceed 8,000 words. For nonfiction, submissions must not exceed 10,000 words. For poetry, you may submit up to four poems at a time. We do not accept unsolicited submissions of art, book reviews, or criticism.
Translations are welcome, provided they are accompanied by a copy of the original text and written permission from the original author.
If you have previously published work in The Table Review, we ask that you wait at least six months from the date of publication before submitting again.
A third-person biography is required with all submissions and will appear alongside your published work if accepted.
We aim to respond to all submissions within four months. If you have not received a response within six months, you are welcome to follow up with us at contact@thetablereview.com.
PAYMENT
The Table Review does not offer payment for published work at this time.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The Table Review does not consider work that has been generated in whole or in part using artificial intelligence. By submitting work to us, you represent and warrant that your submission is entirely your own original writing.
COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION
The Table Review is committed to offering a platform for voices that are often marginalized or underrepresented. We enthusiastically welcome submissions from writers of color; writers who are working class or on low incomes; queer, transgender, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming writers; writers with disabilities; and any writer who feels that they or their story have been underrepresented in literature.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Table Review is a volunteer-run independent literary magazine. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this website or our services.
